Sheet music of David Bowie’s 1984 hit ‘Blue Jean’ is being auctioned as part of The Music Circle’s annual celebrity jumble sale Rumble in the Jumble, taking place 14th May at east London’s iconic multi-purpose venue Oval Space.
The item comes in a display frame complete with two photographs of Bowie.
Rumble in the Jumble raises money for Oxfam through celebrity and brand donations, and raised a record-breaking £27,000 in 2015. The brains behind the Jumble are a combination of The Music Circle, which is now celebrating registered charity status, Radio 1’s Gemma Cairney and TV personality Dawn Porter.
As well as a similar online auction featuring two golden palm trees from Paloma Faith’s tour set, other donations at the jumble include a pair of Elton John’s signed Versace sunglasses, celebrity donations from Annie Lennox, Kate Moss, Mark Ronson, plus brand donations from Anthropologie, Topshop, Whistles and Tatty Devine.
