Hikaru Davis is the youngest child of drummer Dennis Davis, who sadly passed away on 6 April 2016.
Hikaru embarked on the HD Projects hoping to learn how and why his father was one of the greatest drummers, and hear inspiring stories of his father through interviews with some of the musicians and producers who worked with his late father, as well as Dennis’s friends and family.
Whilst Dennis Davis is best-known to Bowie fans for his work on the albums Young Americans, Station To Station, Low, “Heroes”, Lodger and Scary Monsters, he also played with Stevie Wonder, Roy Ayers, George Benson and many others.
