David Bowie’s ‘Blackstar’ video has won the ‘Best Art Direction’ category at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, though credit was given to art director Jan Houllevigue.
This music video for ‘Blackstar’ is a surreal ten-minute short film directed by Johan Renck (the director of The Last Panthers, the show for which the song was composed).
The other nominees were:
